About Us
Our founder, Donald Pell, gained an appreciation for plants and landscapes in his youth. After honing his skills alongside leading architects, Donald was moved to put his passion into practice. Since then, Donald and the rest of our team draw on their diverse arrays of knowledge and backgrounds as they work to create intentional gardens built to delight as they evolve. From planning out your ideal garden on paper to building it on the land, our horticulture architects will collaborate with qualified construction partners to deliver high-value designs tailored to your vision and location. Artful Approach
Our approach to garden design is at the meetingplace of wildness and order. We will evaluate your site and carefully take into account its characteristics to create a truly immersive garden made to enhance your property’s character and to be admired over time.Marvelous Variety

Marvelous Variety
The majority of our plants are sourced from trusted growers. As a supplement, we cultivate less popular varieties ourselves at our small plant nursery. We prioritize use of locally growing plants as often as possible, but we also observe that diversified garden compositions composed of some novel plants are often most conducive to maximized appeal and longevity.Wildlife Friendly

Wildlife Friendly
We prioritize creating stunning gardens which offer favorable homes for pollinators, enabling you to be a good steward of the planet while reveling in well-conceived beauty. Green and visually pleasing, our gardens are made to offer the benefits of each world.Low Maintenance

Low Maintenance
Once rooted, our gardens are intended to grow well by themselves, with little to zero supplementing or watering required. However, minor attention may be necessary at various points to maintain design details and ensure ongoing plant well-being. Our internal staff will be happy to offer assistance or guidance at these periods. What Makes Us Different
Other local design firms may be able to offer gardens that look nice, but we go beyond simple aesthetics. We pull from multiple decades of experience and vast horticultural knowledge to curate gardens that are well poised to thrive harmoniously, with little upkeep required as the seasons change. Our installers orient plants with intention, giving close attention to how they will evolve and highlight specific other design features on your property. We believe that communication is crucial, and we will work in conjunction with you to fulfill your desires for your own individual garden.

George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River, which occurred on the night of December 25–26, 1776 during the American Revolutionary War, was the first move in a surprise attack organized by George Washington, the commanding general of the Continental Army, against Hessian forces, which were German auxiliaries aiding the British. After crossing the Delaware River clandestinely, Washington and his troops successfully attacked the Hessian forces in the Battle of Trenton in Trenton on the morning of December 26, 1776. The military campaign was organized in great secrecy by Washington, who led a column of Continental Army troops from today's Bucks County, Pennsylvania across the icy Delaware River to today's Mercer County, New Jersey in what was one of the Revolutionary War's most logistically challenging and dangerous operations.
