Our founder, Donald Pell, gained an appreciation for landscapes and plants early in life. After expanding his knowledge with guidance from talented architects, Donald was moved to put his enthusiasm to work. Springfield is a famously common place-name in the English-speaking world, especially in the United States. According to the U.S. Geological Survey there are currently 34 populated places named Springfield in 25 U.S. states, including five in Wisconsin; additionally, there are at least 36 Springfield Townships, including 11 in Ohio. Database studies reveal that there are several more common U.S. place-names than Springfield, including Fairview and Midway. The name "Springfield" is common in Britain and Ireland: two examples being on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and one located within the borough of Wigan, close to the town centre.

I saw Donald Pell's signage on my way to work. It was the best phone call I ever made. Donald and his entire team are professional, thorough, and do an excellent job. Once the job is completed they continue to monitor the job. It's nice to see a company that takes pride in their work. The photos I have attached are plantings that are only 5 months young. I would highly recommend this company.

I was on the phone with Jenna their landscape architect and I thought she's awesome. I would hire them sight unseen! She was so wonderful listening and providing me with her professional insights about my plans that I only wish I could hire them except my property is too small. This company really cares about their clients and even prospective clients! That's RARE to find and a solid winner for me.

Don Pell and his team were fantastic. They apprised of us what to expect for our project from time frame to cost to detailed plans. The team was excellent answering questions and giving us maintenance ideas. Included was a detailed "blueprint" with names of plantings.The group did four meadows for us and all are thriving 1-3 years after planting.Don Pell was available by phone whenever necessary. We highly recommend the Don Pell team and if we had any more areas to plant, would hire them again!

We engaged Don Pell Gardens six months before our new house was finished with the goals of creating a landscape design that anchored our new home to the rural/mountain environment, stabilized steep terrain and managed water run off from the large roof area. Don's was attentive to our needs and concerns to ensure they were reflected in his proposal. The design and implementation exceeded our expectations. In addition to accomplishing the stated goals we have beautiful gardens that we will enjoy for many years to come. Don's team were very focused, professional, courteous and worked seamlessly with our builders as they completed the house. Even our builders were complimentary! We have no hesitation in recommending Don Pell Gardens. In fact we intend on having him back in the future.
