About Us
Our proprietor, Donald Pell, gained an appreciation for plants and landscapes early in life. After honing his skills with guidance from talented architects, Donald decided to put his enthusiasm into practice. Since then, Donald and our other team members apply their diverse sets of knowledge and backgrounds as they strive to create well-designed gardens built to delight as they grow and change. From planning out your dream garden on paper to building it on the land, our landscape experts will work alongside qualified construction partners to deliver high-value designs tailored to your desires and location. Our Building & Design ProcessArtistic Approach

Artistic Approach
Our philosophy for garden design is at the meetingplace of nature and order. We will evaluate your property and carefully take into account its characteristics to construct a truly compelling garden made to enhance your property’s essence and to be appreciated over time.Incredible Variety

Incredible Variety
Most of our plants are sourced from trusted horticulturalists. As a supplement, we cultivate less common varieties on our own at our small plant nursery. We emphasize use of locally growing plants as often as possible, but we also observe that diversified garden arrangements featuring some novel additions are often most conducive to extended appeal and longevity.Wildlife Friendly

Wildlife Friendly
We prioritize creating stunning gardens which offer favorable ecosystems for pollinators, enabling you to be a good friend of the planet whilst reveling in well-conceptualized beauty. Green and visually pleasing, our gardens are made to offer the best of both worlds.Minimal Maintenance

Minimal Maintenance
Once established, our gardens are planned to grow well by themselves, with little to no mulching or watering needed. But, some attention may be needed at certain times to maintain design details and ensure continual plant well-being. Our internal staff will be available to provide assistance or advice at these periods. What Makes Us Different
Other local design firms may be able to provide gardens that look nice, but we go beyond just aesthetics. We pull from numerous decades of experience and in-depth horticultural education to curate gardens that are well positioned to thrive in harmony, with little upkeep required as the seasons pass. Our installers place plants with care, paying mind to how they will evolve and accent specific other design features on your property. We believe that collaboration is crucial, and we will work in conjunction with you to fulfill your desires for your own individual garden.

George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River, which occurred on the night of December 25–26, 1776 during the American Revolutionary War, was the first move in a surprise attack organized by George Washington, the commanding general of the Continental Army, against Hessian forces, which were German auxiliaries aiding the British. After crossing the Delaware River clandestinely, Washington and his troops successfully attacked the Hessian forces in the Battle of Trenton in Trenton on the morning of December 26, 1776. The military campaign was organized in great secrecy by Washington, who led a column of Continental Army troops from today's Bucks County, Pennsylvania across the icy Delaware River to today's Mercer County, New Jersey in what was one of the Revolutionary War's most logistically challenging and dangerous operations.
